Max Schillinger
Linux pro, workflow optimizer, coder for life.
I develop software, both at work and in my free time. I mostly write C, Python and bash/POSIX shell code and I contribute to open source projects whenever I find some time. In general I prefer non-bloated software (=small, efficient, few dependencies) and a keyboard-only workflow (of course, there are always compromises). My main software stack: Linux, dwm, st, tmux, fish, Neovim, Firefox (+Surfingkeys).
From 2011 to 2022, I worked at Daimler/Mercedes Benz, last in System Integration and Testing in the Autonomous Driving department. Since 2022, I have worked at Bosch as a software engineer (deterministic recompute of autonomous driving software).
I was born in 1983. Currently, I live in Stuttgart. In my spare time, I play with my kids, develop software or learn new stuff. Apart from that, I like running, cooking with my wife or having some beer with friends.
